Are you coming to our ‘Birdscaping your Garden Workshop’?

Silvereyes often come to a bird bath to bath, drink and be social

Our ‘Birdscaping your Garden’ workshop is about attracting birds to your garden! Having birds in your garden is not only good for the health of your garden and surrounds but also great for the environment. And who doesn’t love hearing bird song!

In this workshop, you will learn all about using plants to attract birds to your garden, what plant species are best, creating microhabitats, the use of supplementary feeding and water, and providing artificial nest boxes for nesting.

The workshop will include a guided walk within the aviaries to show real examples of ‘birdscaping’ and discussion on how you can apply these methods in your garden.

A range of bird attracting plants will also be offered for sale on the day.

Entry to the workshop is FREE after you have paid park entry. Yearly pass holders receive free entry.

The workshop is being held at On the Perch Bird Park, 343 Tathra Road, Tathra, on Saturday 27 July 2019 commencing at 11am. It will conclude by 12.30pm.
