Bush Stone Curlew lays three eggs!

The bird park has been very successful in breeding The endangered Bush Stone Curlew. This species normally has one or two eggs, but the pair in our Temperate Australia walk-in aviary now have a nest of three eggs right on the edge of the walkway.

While both parents are sitting, a portion of the walk-in aviary has been fenced off to keep visitors away an appropriate distance away while still be able to watch this amazing species.
